Wii Fit

Don’t tell me you’re one of those types who shops for Christmas gifts last-minute. It’s a baaaad idea.  If you’re planning on hitting the mall sometime between now and Christmas Eve, you’d better brace yourself for crowds, especially on a Saturday.

Electronics are particularly hot.  HDTVs, the Xbox 360 Kinect, and the iPad are pretty much one-size-fits-all, unlike shoes or shirts.  This makes this week’s Best of the Web pick particularly useful for planning your next holiday purchase.

The Wii’s a great game console for all ages, for both young and old, and the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board ranks fairly high on Amazon’s “Most Wished For” list.  That’s because you don’t just sit motionlessly with the controller in hand punching buttons – the Wii remote reacts to the movements of your body.  Because of this, people even use this kinetics-based game to get their daily dose of exercise, if you’ve ever heard of the Wii Fit.
