This is a great game to unwind to, No thinking required. The whole thing about Brain training is, well a load of BS. I purchased this for my non-gamer wife, and she loves it. Other games she likes are Brain Age, Picross, and WarioWare: Touched. This is a pure, fast paced, shooter. It has 4 levels of difficulty from Practice to Insane, and would be great for fun lovers of any age. Easy to pick up, hard to put down.

This game is not really known in America well. But it is one of the best games for the DS and has been on other platforms like the PS2. THis ds game has so many minigame modes and challenges, it is fun and addictive. YOu can try to beat a level, better your high scores, beat someone elses high scores or play multiplayer. A must have for your DS collection.

Namco's light gun shooter Point Blank first gained notoriety on these shores when released on the PS1 way back in the day, and the novelty idea of shooting based mini-games seems like a great platform to make a great DS game. And it does, for a while anyway. Point Blank DS picks 40 mini-games from the series; all of which are emulated wonderfully. The most surprising aspect of Point Blank DS is how the light gun controls are translated using the touch screen and stylus. This factor would have made or broken the game, but Namco managed to get this right thankfully. Two player mode is fun to boot, but what stops Point Blank DS from being truly great is the fact that the mini-games don't offer much in terms of replay value. There's no reason to keep coming back once you complete the game, and many of the mini-games themselves aren't all that different from each other. Not to mention that, and maybe this is just me, but the game just isn't as fun overall without using a light gun. All in all, Point Blank DS offers some fun that DS owners can easily enjoy for quick bits of fun, but don't expect too much out of it.
