The video game industry is full of heavy hitters with lots of money behind them - publishers like EA, Microsoft, and Vivindi are what drive the industry. However as any gamer knows, the larger the publishing company, the more likely the developer is going to be pressed to cut corners to hit a deadline. If enough corners are cut what could have been the best MMO to hit the market ever becomes Shadowbane. Of course, where would we be without publishers? Games do not get made without money, and sometimes developers need deadlines (*cough Starcraft Ghost* cough*). Enter Mike Wilson and Harry Miller (Max Payne anyone?) These two developers swore they were leaving the industry for good, only to come back and form one of the most exciting things to come out of publishing ever: Gamecock.
